About Us

Hilary Curry, Principal

Hilary is a Management Consultant and Entrepreneur. Hilary started her career in the Travel and Tourism Industry. During the early years she specialized in program design, instruction, procurement and sales. Looking for a challenge, Hilary refocused her energies into a certificate in Project Management from the University of British Columbia followed by the establishment of her consulting company, Halston Consulting. In addition, she has also completed an MBA in Executive Management with a specialization in Leadership from Royal Roads University.

With her high energy and organization, Hilary is able to effectively see the big picture of any project and get the ball moving in the right direction. Whether she is directing, facilitating or teaching, Hilary enjoys getting people excited about learning and she believes that people are far more effective when they are actively engaged. Her business experience to date has given Hilary a balanced appreciation of business realities and a belief that anything is possible.

Hilary is currently on a contract in the Middle East as a project manager at a hospital. She is also actively consulting on two other projects developing business opportunities for coffee growers from Kenya and Rwanda in the Middle East. She keeps her sanity in the desert through travel opportunities to Asia, Europe, India and Africa.

Our project philosophy is based on a facilitative/collaborative approach. Our consultants work with you to design solutions that are unique to your needs. Philanthropy

As Halston Consulting continues to develop we have started exploring avenues to give back. From our perspective the most productive way to do this is through knowledge transfer and teaching through international development projects.

Our consultants are committed to provide international companies, communities and nations with pro bono consulting services that engage local clients and help with developmental projects. To date, these projects have come up through other consulting opportunities. We have been able to work locally within country and help improve processes and stability in 3rd world nations.
