Hilary A. Curry
Hilary is a Management Consultant and Entrepreneur. She began her career in the Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Industry in 1998. During the early years she specialized in program design, instruction, procurement and sales. Looking for a challenge, Hilary refocused her energies into a certificate in Project Management from the University of British Columbia followed by the establishment of her consulting company, Halston Consulting. In addition, she has also completed an MBA with a specialization in Leadership from Royal Roads University. Hilary has recently completed a post-graduate diploma in Management Consulting at the Grenoble Graduate School of Business as well as certification as an MBTI® Facilitator.
With her high energy, organizational and management skills, Hilary has the ability to see the "big picture" for any type of project and effectively gets the ball rolling in the right direction. Whether she is directing, managing, facilitating or teaching; Hilary enjoys getting people excited about learning and she believes that people are far more effective when they are actively involved. Her business experience to date has given Hilary a balanced appreciation of business realities and a belief that anything is possible.
Hilary has recently returned to Canada from a 16-month contract in the Middle East. After a short stop in Vancouver, she is currently working for an international professional services firm as a Change Management Consultant in Calgary, Alberta.
When she is not involved in work; Hilary is still an active PADI IDC Staff Instructor and enjoys as much outdoor adventure as possible! If she is not somewhere outdoors, she is off on an adventure somewhere in the world.
